Former Fort Bliss civilian worker accused of bribery

A former Fort Bliss civilian worker is accused of taking bribes to steer contracts to companies that hired a California consultant.

Starting in 2006 through 2009, U.S. attorneys said John Anthony Villela, 54, a consultant out of Victorville, California bribed Hugo Earl White, 51 of Canutillo with $2,700 in cash, a cell phone, and a car in order to get contracts secured for clients of his.
