El Paso, Texas (KDBC) — It's tough times for El Paso's housing market. Foreclosure filings in February more than doubled from one year ago.
That's according to Realty Trac, an online marketplace for foreclosed properties.
More than 800 properties in the city were in some stage of foreclosure last month. The good news? Those numbers are actually down 18 percent from last month.
Meanwhile, it's a stark contrast in Las Cruces where foreclosures are down 29 percent from a year ago. Nationwide, foreclosures are down 27 percent.
