EL PASO - A fire in East El Paso severely damaged a home.
Flames started around 11 p.m. last night in a garage in the 11800 block of Snowhawk.
Ten fire units and 35 firefighters battled the blaze.
Investigators say an overheated extension cord started the fire.
No one was home at the time.
Damages are estimated at $100,000.
