FDA sends out warning to several Botox-administering facilities across Texas

TEXAS — Nearly 400 doctors nationwide are being warned about Botox from a Canadian supplier that's unapproved and could be counterfeit or unsafe.

No El Paso doctors were sent a warning by the Food and Drug Administration, however, at least two dozen Botox-administering facilities across Texas have done business with the Canadian supplier.

At least 3 facilities in Austin and 5 in San Antonio were sent warning letters.
