EPPD To Get Tougher on Gangs, Drunk Drivers

EL PASO - The El Paso Police department wants to toughen its stance on gangs and drunk driving.

Police Chief Greg Allen is concerned about this year's spike in homicides, some of which may be gang related, he said.

El Paso has had 17 homicides so far this year, compared to 16 in all of last year.

Chief Allen also wants to increase the DWI Task Force to tackle El Paso's problem with drunk drivers, he said.

He wants to increase foot patrol in downtown El Paso, so officers can spend more time on the streets, he said.

Hum ! Interesting Officers once upon a time were stoned scared of only one Mau Mau gang banger (a P.R. ) Nicky Cruz.. According of how I read about him , and taught me so mush gang things I think that his techniques were very planted in my mind cause were both not from this country . who know?
