EL PASO — El Paso County Sheriff’s Office was searching for someone who broke into a Vinton restaurant and caused $2,000 of damage.
In surveillance video, you can see a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt, with the word "Pink" on the front.
He kicks in the door of the Great American Land and Cattle Company in Vinton the morning of April 14.
When El Paso County Sheriff's Deputies arrived 45 minutes later, the restaurant had been ransacked.
"Alarm wires were pulled off the walls. The building had been burglarized and apparently there were some items that were taken from the establishment," said Jesse Tovar with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Minutes before the burglary, surveillance video shows an older model Nissan Pathfinder or Isuzu Rodeo with paper plates in front of the building.
If you have information, call Crime Stoppers at 566-TIPS.
