FABENS — Deputies believe a motorcyclist had been drinking when he crashed his bike in Fabens.
El Paso County Sheriff's deputies said the 58-year-old motorcyclist was driving on East Main Street near 6th Street Friday night when he veered off the road and hit a concrete barrier.
He has a broken leg and cuts to the back of his head.
Deputies said he was not wearing a helmet, did not have a driver's license and may have been under the influence.
Charges are pending based on the results of a toxicology test.
