EL PASO — Fall-like weather replaced hot temperatures in the borderland Saturday.
With cloudy skies and cooler temperatures, the change in weather brought out plenty of people to El Paso parks.
"It's a wonderful day today and a great time to be in El Paso," said Joseph Sterlitz, who was with family at Mission Hills Park in West El Paso.
Daniel Perez, 11, said he enjoys the swings and spending time outdoors.
"It's nice outside cause people can be active and they can play soccer, football and anything like that," Perez said.
Strelitz said normally he can't be out at the park early in the day cause of the hot weather.
"Normally we are looking for a place to go swimming at 3:30 in the afternoon," Strelitz said. "It's nice to have the kids outside."
The Fall season begins September 22nd.
