El Paso, Texas (KDBC) — Dozens of northeast El Paso residents are on edge after a string of a drive by shootings in just a matter of days.
The first shootings happened last Friday on Wadsworth Avenue and Centaur Drive. Then yesterday more shots were fired this time on Mickey Mantle Anvenue, just minutes away.
So far four homes and four cars have been shot. Luckily no one has been injured. Tolice have not determined whether the shootings are connected, but we caught up with residents who told us they're worried about their safety since no suspects have been caught.
"It's sad because it's happening more often. It makes me scared for my kids. It makes me just want to keep them home but unfortunately I can't do that," said Jennifer Sanchez, a Northeast El Paso resident.
Northeast El Paso isn't the only part of town dealing with this problem. On Wednesday night someone also fired several bullets into a home in West El Paso near El Cajon and Resler. Luckily no one was injured.
