A spokesperson for El Paso's Border Patrol Union says 153 undocumented immigrants have been admitted to area hospitals in recent months, and that's not counting admissions in the past two weeks.

Stu Harris tells us the illnesses included tuberculosis, chicken pox, and scabies.

However, a spokesperson with the El Paso Health Department says we aren't seeing any big spikes in health problems with only 3 cases of chicken pox and 1 case of salmonella related to the immigration influx.

In 2012, the county saw a total of 10 chicken pox cases and 98 cases of salmonella.

In 2013, 23 cases of chicken pox and 120 cases of salmonella were reported.
