Students at a local college say they're worried about their futures after their financial aid checks bounced. Anamarc college is a local 2-year college which offers nursing and vocational nursing certificates. We contacted Anamarc College after receiving several calls from students worried about their financial aid. One student claims faculty also wasn't paid last Friday.

In a statement, Anamarc College officials confirm they are "... currently facing temporary cash flow" problems and are "working diligently around the clock to resolve them with their students' and employees."

We also reached out to the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, the agency which accredits Anamarc. A rep with their company says they haven't heard from the college about the 'cash flow' issues. They add, if the institution is having trouble with payroll they have to notify ACICS so they can ensure students can complete their education at a comparable institution without incurring additional costs.
