The El Paso businessman acquitted on intoxication manslaughter was back in court Monday. William “Billy” Abraham posted a personal recognizance bail for $1,000.

Court officials said Abraham spent just hours in jail before he posted bond on Friday. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail.

As we've reported, Abraham was accused of hitting 47-year-old Jay Grady with his truck on July 20, 2010. A witness in the trial testified that Abraham had a blood alcohol content level of .20 while the victim had a BAC of .23. The legal limit is .08.

Abraham will be back in court in November for a civil suit against him.
