El Paso band Fixed Idea has stepped forward in order to bring attention to cyber bullying and to raise money for Viviana Zulema Aguirre's family.

Aguirre, a student at Ysleta High School, was the victim of alleged cyber bulling which caused her to commit suicide in early January.

"As a father, a teacher, and a musician, I feel it's my duty to bring awareness to such issue and to help out a family in our community that is in need." said Fixed Idea's Pancho  Mendoza.

Fixed Idea has been an El Paso area based ska and punk band for over twenty years. The band originated in El Paso's Lower Valley and blends influences from the Latin Community, traditional 60's rock and Jamaican style of reggae.
