Shooting Suspect Turns Himself Into Police

UPDATE: The suspect in a shooting in Northeast El Paso is in police custody.  El Paso Police Spokesman Darrel Petry confirmed that Mark Hernandez turned himself into police early Monday morning. Martinez escaped a 6-hour SWAT standoff on Porter Ave. on Sunday where officers had reason to believe that Hernandez was hiding inside a home. Investigators believe Hernandez shot a 27-year-old man in the head at a party on Sanders Ave. on Saturday night.
