El Paso is in the Guiness World Record Books.
40,148 people dance along as the village people sang at the 2008 Sun Bowl. That made it the largest YMCA dance ever.
"On behlaf of Guinness World Records, we are delighted to certify such a visual, fun and monumental record achievment. A very worthy effort by all 40,148 participants and we welcome them to the Guinness World Recors family," said Danny Girton, Jr., the adjudication manager.
