School Districts To Pay Bill For School Flasher Signal Installations

EL PASO, TX — The El Paso City Council approved a change involving school zones on Tuesday.

Now, all school districts will pay the entire bill to install flashing light signs in school zones and the city will pick up the maintenance costs.

Previously, the districts paid 60 percent of the bill and the city put in 40 percent, plus maintenance.
