EL PASO - A man pulled from a burning vehicle faces a DWI charge after a crash late Saturday night.
Police say 28 year-old Joshua Carpenter crashed his SUV into a center barricade while driving along I-10 West.
The impact reportedly caused carpenter to lose control crossing the median dividing I-10 West and Gateway West, where he struck a car.
Police say Carpenter's SUV then burst into flames and a witness rescued him.
Officers arrested Carpenter, who escaped the crash uninjured for DWI.
