EL PASO-- He tried to hide, but the law caught up with him.
El Paso police arrested a man after a fight on the 5300 block of Ridge Saturday night.
Police said Sergio Alvidrez and another man were fighting when a police officer passed by and managed to separate the two.
They said that Alvidrez gave the officer a fake name, and after investigating it further, they found that Alvidrez was wanted in Dallas for a probation violation, and two outstanding warrants.
Alvidrez was arrested for "failing to identify"and for the outstanding warrants.
Police said he was also in possession of marijuana.
