Evans Becomes Oldest Tour Winner since 1923

Australia has always been known as a surfing and outback capitol... now cycling. An Australian has made history in the Tour de France. Cadel Evans became the first Aussie to win the tour. Now 34 years old, Evans is also the tour's oldest winner since 1923. Previously, eEans had two runner-up finishes in 2007 and 2008. Evans said it was his dream to win the Tour de France - he made that declaration when he was just 14 years old.
