Escobar Cleared of Misconduct

County Commissioner Veronica Escobar has been cleared of criminal misconduct.

She was under investigation for allegedly getting free legal advice in 2007 in exchange for a favorable vote on a case.

County Judge Anthony Cobos brought the complaint to the Sheriff's office two weeks ago.
