Boxing Legend Dolph Quijano Laid To Rest Today

Friday, June 4: One of the great atheltes in El Paso's history was laid to rest today. Dolph Quijano passed away Monday at the age of 89. A member of the El Paso Atheltic Hall of Fame and Boxing Hall of Fame, Quijano won 54 professional fights with 43 knockouts. He was the Texas State Champion as both a Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight, the only boxer to ever hold both titles simultaniously.
