EL PASO -- About two weeks since a 3-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl were killed after being hit by a car, the Mission Riders motorcycle club is hosting a benefit concert in their honor.

Jonathan Macias, 3, and Anne Marie Harrelson, 8, died after being hit by a car as they were walking alongside Dyer Street in Northeast El Paso with their siblings, Fabian Harrelson, 15, and Guadalupe Macias, 11. The two older children suffered serious injuries and are still recovering.

"My child was only 3 years old, I miss getting home and him jumping on me and watching Spongebob with him," said Jody Harrelson as he fought back tears. "Then my daughter, her just getting home hugging me from school."

Sunday afternoon, area motorcycle clubs are hosting a benefit concert in the children's honor at the House of Rock in East El Paso to raise money for the children's medical expenses.

Harrelson said it's the support he's received from his second family with the Seed of Abraham motorcycle club as well as friends with the Mission Riders that have helped him get through this difficult time.

"If it wasn't for them I think I would probably be in prison for looking for this guy," Harrelson said.

He said they have given him so much physical and emotional support and is grateful to them and the entire community of El Paso for everything they have done for his family.
