Austin "No Doubt" Trout Returns to Borderland as a Champion

Las Cruces' own Austin Trout returned home to the Borderland today, as the new WBA World Light Middleweight Champ, after beating Rigoberto Alvarez by unanimous decision.  The El Paso-born, Las Cruces raised trout won the title in Guadalajara, Mexico, the hometown of his opponent, Alvarez.  The win makes the former Mayfield Trojan the first world champ from Las Cruces and the fourth from the State of New Mexico.
