More people turned out for early voting for the run-off election than the regular election back in May.

A total of 27,366 El Pasoans took advantage of early voting that ended Tuesday, nearly 4,000 more votes than in May.

Election day was set for Saturday. El Pasoans will be voting for a new mayor and three city representatives.

Two seats are also still up for grabs for the El Paso Independent School District board.
