EL PASO- A rude awakening this morning for folks in East El Paso as shots rang out, hitting several cars. It happened on the 9600 block of Falkirk.
It's not the first time something like this has happened. Three different neighbors told us this house on Falkirk has been shot at before.
When we asked why, none would appear on camera. But they all said the same thing.
"I think there are drugs involved in that house over there, but it doesn't seem like anyone can prove it, so no one does anything," said one woman.
Police say they have no record of previous shootings, but neighbors disagree. Three cars were hit this morning, striking this truck and this sedan with one shot each.
Five more shots left bullet holes in a Cadillac Escalade parked in the driveway. Today's shooting has left neighbors in the area upset.
"It makes me angry, it really does, because I moved from the Valley to get away from that stuff," said one woman who lives on the street.
Lots of families live on this block of Falkirk. Many of them have small children.
The early morning shots have parents wondering if their kids are safe.
"What if these people run out and just come shooting and they shoot at my house? I have two young kids to worry about. A 5-year old and a 14-year old and it's kind of scary," said a concerned parent.
A block from the shooting, one woman showed us a pair of shoes on a phone wire.
She calls it a signal that says drugs are sold in this area.
Neighbors say they want to see action and the house cleaned up. They just ask police to not leave them hanging.
