EL PASO - A special DWI task force arrested ten people for driving while intoxicated in 10 hours.
Last night police kicked off their supplemental DWI task force at 6 p.m. and it ended at 4 a.m. In that time, they also arrested 3 people for other offenses, issued 61 hazardous citations, 48 non-hazardous citations, and arrested three minors for drinking.
The effort will continue every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It's all apart of their "Arrive Alive" combating alcohol-related deaths and accidents.
