Several dogs left homeless after a Las Cruces mobile home fire are now being cared for at the Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley.

An official at the center said Dr. Beth Vesco-Mock is working with about 20 dogs rescued from the home. That official also said many of the dogs are still showing signs of fear and need to be socialized.

A few of them are already available for adoption.
