Varay Systems, a locally-owned and operated IT consulting firm, has extended the deadline for the Varay Rebranding Design Contest.

The contest invites local graphic designers to submit concepts for a new brand for the company, with an opportunity to win a $500 cash prize. The deadline is now set for Monday, January 6 at 5pm.

The company, founded more than a decade ago in 2003, is looking to reinvent its brand while simultaneously offering local design talent the chance to be part of that process.

The public will also be invited to participate in voting on the three finalist designs on Varay’s Facebook page.

“We have already received several great submissions and many inquiries regarding this contest,” said Patrick Holland, Varay Systems President and CEO. “Some feedback has indicated that the entry period over the holidays has been challenging, so we have decided to extend the date several days to give more designers the opportunity to participate.”

The Varay Rebranding Design Contests invites artists and graphic designers to submit their design concepts for a new brand for Varay Systems in the form of a company logo.

The intention is for the logo concept to be carried throughout the company’s various marketing platforms, including company web site, social media profiles, business cards, stationery and more.

A creative brief with details to help provide design inspiration and guidelines is available at www.varay.com/brandcontest.

Designs must be submitted in original artwork vector form (EPS) to www.varay.com/brandcontest by 5 PM MST on Monday, January 6.

Dependent upon the designs submitted, the Varay leadership will select the top finalists to be voted on by the public on Varay’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/varaysystems, from Wednesday, January 8 to Friday, January 10, with the winning design to be announced on Monday, January 13.
