LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Dona Ana District Attorney-elect Mark D'Antonio will be sworn into office Friday morning at the Dona Ana County Government Center.
The Las Cruces attorney and former FBI special agent defeated incumbent Amy Orlando in November.
D'Antonio is the first elected district attorney since Governor Susana Martinez held the position.
Orlando was appointed by Martinez when she won the governorship and served as district attorney for two years.
D'Antonio will be sworn in at 10:30am at the Dona Ana County Government Center.
