The Dona Ana County Community College nursing program has received its stamp of approval... from the New Mexico State Board of Nursing.

The board voted unanimously Friday to grant full approval status to the college's associate's program.

However, the program is still not accredited.

The program lost its accreditation from the National League for Nursing back in August for its high turnover rate for faculty.

They must wait 10 months from now to reapply for accreditation.
