A 29-year-old mother and her 9-year-old son have been rescued after they got lost on the west side of the Franklin Mountains.
Emergency dispatchers said they received a call just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday from the park ranger that the two were lost.
It’s unclear if they were hiking.
The mother and son were not injured.
