EL PASO, TX — A crash that killed an El Paso Police Officer on December 16th has also claimed a second life.
70 year-old Amado Ancheta of Katy, Texas died just a couple days later, on December 20th from injuries he sustained in the crash that killed Officer Angel Garcia on Interstate 10 near Hawkins.
Garcia was attempting to remove a ladder from the interstate when a chain-reaction crash took place involving a semitruck, a Ford Explorer, a Hyundai Elantra and Garcia's patrol vehicle.
Ancheta was the driver of the Ford Explorer.
