EL PASO — One man is dead after a driver crashes into construction equipment on I-10 and Artcraft going westbound.
The crash happened right before midnight when a driver killed one construction worker and injured another on the highway.
Police are still investigating but they tell us that the same driver may have hit another car right before this accident.
El Paso police said there are several warning signs long before the construction zone and paying attention could save lives.
"Adhere to the warning signs that are up and out there slow down move to the open lane that has been opened for traffic and as always be aware of your surroundings," Darrel Petry of El Paso Police said.
The man hit on the scene was taken to the University Medical Center where he later died. The other man hit is said to be in stable condition.
Police still don't know of alcohol was a factor.
