Community meeting for a new street project

Wednesday, March 13, 2013 - 8:31pm

A couple streets in South El Paso will be undergoing a makeover.

The City of El Paso is currently in the beginning stages of the design and project planning for a citywide 7 year program.

Street improvements will consist of the reconstruction of road, concrete driveways, ADA compliant wheel chair ramps, sidewalks and street landscaping.

A presentation will be made at this community meeting to highlight the concept plan for the Elena Avenue and Feliz Street improvements and will also highlight the other streets in the area to be reconstructed as part of the 7 year program.

The community meeting will be hosted on March 19th, at 5:30pm at Clardy Fox Library at
5515 Robert Alva.

The project also intends to address street drainage in the area.
