Colder and Windier Weather in the Borderland

Did you sleep soundly throughout the night? Gusty winds moved through the Borderland creating a very chilly start to the morning.

According to the National Weather Service, lows will drop down on Tuesday night to the low 20s. A frigid beginning to the week, they say temperatures will get even colder as the North West winds come blowing around 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Parts of Santa Teresa, New Mexico and El Paso will be experiencing rapidly falling temperatures and as a precaution, you may way to bring your potted plants and pets indoors.
