The City of El Paso has been working with consulting firm Affion Public in order to gather information and community input on what qualities are needed in a new City Manager.

The entire profile is now available on the City's website (and is also attached below). The City Manager profile will be used throughout professional outlets including the Texas Manager's Association (TCMA) and the International City Manager's Association (ICMA).

The City is now accepting applications for the position for the next thirty days. Upon closure, it will take the consultants an additional thirty days to review all resumes and provide a list of 8-10 candidates for City Council's review.

Mayor Leeser and City Council members will review resumes and select the finalists that will be interviewed by the Mayor and the council as well as a citizen's advisory group and staff panels. Citizens will also have a chance to meet the finalists at a reception to be scheduled at a later date.
