The Boy Scouts of America is discussing changing its stance on gay members. According to Boy Scout spokesman, Deron Smith, the organization could announce its decision on the matter as early as the first week of February. The announcement comes just six months after the organization reaffirmed its policy of banning gay members. The Boy Scouts' leaders reached that decision last July after a nearly two-year evaluation.
