EL PASO - One person is dead this morning after a body was found in the middle of I-10 near the Schuster exit going Westbound.
El Paso Police were dispatched to the scene at 4:44 a.m. and began shutting down traffic lanes.
Police haven't released a name, but say a 48-year-old man was hit on I-10 by two cars.
18-year-old Robert Ingo was driving a Nissan Sentra and 51-year-old Lorena Meza was driving a van.
Both drivers called police immediately and assisted in the investigation.
Police aren't sure how or why the man was on the freeway. The investigation is ongoing.
