El Paso, TX (KDBC) — Hundreds of blue ribbons lined the trees in front of the El Paso Children's Hospital, all in awareness of child abuse.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and the ribbons are not only to support those who've endured abuse, but serve as a reminder for the general public to step forward if they see abuse.
"Report child abuse, even if it's only suspected child abuse, still report," said El Paso Children's Hospital representative Susan Hass-Hatch.
A total of 2,000 ribbons were hung in awareness for those abused.
