A baby shower was held in east El Paso Tuesday. It was presented by "Newborns in Need," and organization out of University Medical Center.
The baby shower was a way to get all moms the basics tehy need to take care of their babies.
"With the way the economy has been the last year, we found more and more people are coming to the hospital without insurance; that they are really unprepared to give birth. The supplies, the simple things, blankets and t-shirts, they can't tap into any other resource to get these items," said Holly Judge, Newborns in Need spokesperson.
