New York (CNN) — Four people thought to be connected to the drugs found in actor Philip Seymour Hoffman's apartment have been arrested.
A law enforcement official said a raid led to the arrest of the three men and one woman.
In the raid, police say they recovered 350 bags or envelopes which may be used to contain heroin.
Hoffman was found in his fourth-floor Manhattan apartment Sunday.
Law enforcement sources said investigators discovered close to 50 envelopes of what they believed was heroin in the apartment as well as used syringes and prescription drugs.
Police have not yet said exactly how Tuesday's arrests are connected to the Hoffman death investigation.
