The search for Baby Gabriel out of San Antonio has gone from a search for a missing person to a homicide investigation.
His mother, told San Antonio police that that she cut up the baby and threw him into the garbage. But shortly after changed her story to say she gave the baby to a couple in a san antonio parking lot.
But El Paso PI Jay J. Armes says he thinks that Gabriel may still be alive. He's been hired by Gabriel's father, Logan McQueary, to help crack the case. Armes says he's gotten number of leads on where the baby might be.
As for McQueary, he is holding out hope that if a family out there does have his son, they will finally come forward.
"It can be anonymous. We don't care about you getting in trouble. We just want, I just want my son back," said McQueary.
