Anthony Police search for armed robber

Anthony, Texas police were looking for a man who robbed a busy store at gunpoint.

Police said the man, who used a bandana to cover his face, walked into the Family Dollar on Main Street just before 8 p.m. Saturday, November 30.

They said he pulled out a handgun, ordered an employee and customers to the floor and demanded money. Once he had the cash, he ran out.

"The time this incident happened, again, it was Saturday. This is a very populated area. A lot of shops in the area and investigators from Anthony, Texas know that somebody knows who this person is," said Javier Sambrano with Crime Stoppers.

He's described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s wearing a jacket or sweatshirt with the Ecko Unlimited logo on the front.
