El Paso — Friends and family members gathered in El Paso Friday to say farewell to Robert Hernandez. The 26 year-old El Paso airman died when his apartment in Germany caught fire earlier this month in a town near Ramstein Air Base. Hernandez was serving as part of the 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. The investigation in the fire continues.
