The best way to lose excess fat may be aerobic exercise. Researchers at Duke University analyzes changes in body composition from three modes of exercise in overweight adults.
That included aerobics, weight training or a combination of both. While all three are healthy ways of getting physical activity, aerobic exercise seemed to be the best way to burn fat. Older adults who have had muscle loss may benefit more from weight training.
