EL PASO - A status hearing is scheduled tomorrow for an El Paso man accused of killing his mother.
David Marmolejo will go on trial for the crime next month.
A judge has already ruled that Marmolejo will stand trial in El Paso despite objections from the accused killer's attorney who claims pre-trial publicity will taint any jury.
Marmolejo is accused of strangling his mother Gloria to death last year and of dumping her body in the Santa Teresa desert.
