EL PASO — A 23-year-old motorcyclist is killed after he loses control and hits a metal guardrail in northeast El Paso.
Investigators said it happened as the he was approaching a curve on Transmountain just before 9 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies said his body was severed on impact.
They said speed appears to be a contributing factor.
The victim is a Fort Bliss soldier.
Officers closed the westbound lanes of Transmountain as they investigated.
