More Than 900 Pounds Of Pot Found In Stash House

EL PASO -- Investigators of the West Texas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (H.I.D.T.A.) Stash House Unit found 850 bundles of marijuana at a home in Horizon City Wednesday.

Police were investigating a house on the 14600 block of Daffodil when the marijuana was found.
Police arrested three people in connection to the drugs. Bentio Ruiz, Ezequiel Torres and Esther Reyes are all charged with possession of Marijuana.
Police say the drugs have a street value of $767,320.00.
The task force wants to remind the public of possible indicators of stash houses.
Indicators include, unkept yards, little or no furniture, different people seen at the house, different vehicles, accumulation of advertisements on the front door.
These are indicators and do not necessarily mean people inside the house are running a stash house.
