U.S. Airlines Perform Well

U.S. Airlines are more likely to arrive on time and less likely to lose your luggage than at any other time in more than two decades.

During the first half of this year, nearly 84 percent of domestic flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.

That's the best performance since the government began keeping track in 1988 and said to be most likely due to good weather and fewer planes in the sky.
