Three Men Are Arrested for Allegedly Breaking Into a Construction Site

The Las Cruces police department has arrested three men who allegedly stole tools from a construction site on Alameda Boulevard Tuesday morning.

Adam Gerald McCarn, 24, Nicolas J. Crespin, 29, and 34-year-old Willie Yanez are charged with one count each of breaking and entering, non-residential burglary and conspiracy.

According to a witness, around 4 a.m., a small, gray vehicle park near the Alameda House at 526 S. Alameda Blvd.

The witness saw three men get out of the vehicle, jump the fence and return with items from inside the building.

The witness called 911 after seeing same three men cut the lock on the gate and steal additional items.

Officers stopped a gray, Honda Element driven by a woman, near the Downtown Mall.

McCarn, Crespin and Yanez were inside the vehicle along with the driver and another woman. Also in the vehicle was a large generator, tool belts and other supplies that were taken from the construction site.
